Mocha is a joyful, playful pup who absolutely adores people and other dogs. Her favorite activities include tug-of-war, chasing her doggy friends while they fetch the ball, and splashing around in any water she can find — even her water bowl in her crate!
She’s crate trained and quiet when resting, and she’s fully potty trained, able to hold overnight for up to 10 hours. Mocha thrives outdoors, especially when she gets to swim — she’s a true water lover!
Still growing and learning, Mocha knows basic commands and would benefit from continued training to help her shine even brighter. She’s looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy and enthusiasm, and she’d be thrilled to have some fur siblings to play with.

Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

Submit Application
All applicants must complete an online Adoption Application, which is then reviewed by our vet check team and a vet check done if applicable
Meet the Pet
A meet-n-greet should be arranged with the prospective adoptive family and foster animal applied for. All current pets must be included.
Home Check
Sometimes the meet-n-greet is combined with the home visit. The home visit is critical to make sure the foster animal is a good fit.
Sign Adoption Contract
When an adoption is a go, the adopters sign an Adoption Contract. The Contract may have addendums depending if the animal is spayed or not.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees may vary from animal to animal.
Take the Pet Home
Adoption Contract must have been signed, fee paid, and adopter provide collar tag with contact info on it, collar and leash.
