*** Miller is at Cat & Craft in Vista. *** *** Celeste is in a foster home. ***
Miller #19597: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 2/22/25 Celeste #19759: gray/white tabby, spayed female, born approx. 4/11/25
Cats: must have playmate, best together! Dogs: haven’t met Children: past toddler
BACKGROUND: Miller was less than two weeks old when his mother was poisoned and he and his siblings were left as fragile young orphans who needed bottle-feeding and TLC. Celeste and her siblings were a similar age when they were left at a high-kill shelter. Miller and Celeste met in foster care and formed a close connection.
PERSONALITY: The world is their playground. They are active, playful, cuddly, and love pretty much all toys and all games. (They’ll also take over your bed.) ---Miller is proud to be the best big brother ever. He is very laid-back and gentle, even when playing with those younger and smaller than him, and he never complains when he gets pushed aside in another cat’s drive for pets… but he’s sure purry and happy to get attention! When he actually demands attention is usually at bedtime. ---Celeste is tiny and sweet and she knows she’s adorable! She is a very curious girl who is the most outgoing of her own siblings, which leads her toward exploration – she’ll want to know everything you’re doing! She can be a bit needy, but if you like a dedicated cuddle-buddy, that’s not a bad thing!
COMPATIBILITY: Miller and Celeste love each other and are great with other cats; they each must have a youthful kitty playmate (best together!) and are accustomed to piling together in a group for grooming and naptime. They haven’t met dogs or children, though if properly introduced and gently handled they may do well with gentle preschoolers on up, especially Miller – he’s pretty solid.
