Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Octavia, a resilient young mama who’s finally ready for a life that’s all about her. Just over a year old, this sweet girl made the long journey from North Carolina to Massachusetts in hopes of finding the forever family she truly deserves. Octavia’s past hasn’t been the easiest, she was a devoted mom to two back-to-back litters, which took a lot out of her. Now it’s her turn to be the one who’s cared for, loved, and spoiled. And she’s more than ready for it. Octavia is endlessly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and will happily curl up beside you for attention. When the zoomies strike, she’ll bounce around with playful energy, and she even enjoys the company of some kitty friends here at the shelter. One thing Octavia absolutely lives for? Mealtime. She’ll chat and chirp to let you know she’s ready to dine — it’s her favorite part of the day. Octavia is currently on a prescription diet to help manage some occasional loose stool, which can happen to cats in a shelter environment. The good news is she isn’t bothered by it at all — she’s comfortable, happy, and shows no signs of an upset belly. We don’t believe this will be a long-term issue, and once she’s in a calm, stable home, her stomach may settle completely. She’ll go home with her current prescription food, and after chatting with your veterinarian, you can likely transition her slowly to a regular diet. With a little time and routine, Octavia should do wonderfully. Octavia has given so much in her young life — now she’s ready to receive that same love back. Could you be the one to show her what forever really feels like?
