My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marley – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾

Say hello to Marley, a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix with the looks of a showstopper and the heart of a teddy bear. Weighing in at 78 pounds of love and loyalty, Marley is a handsome boy with striking markings, soft fur, and a gentle soul.

Despite a rough patch — he was surrendered to the shelter when his previous family could no longer care for him — Marley has kept his sweet spirit and is ready to find his forever home.

💛 Why Marley is the Total Package:

Dog-friendly and playful — loves a good game of tag!
Carries his stuffed toys around like prized possessions 🧸
Crate and house trained ✅
Rides like a champ in the car 🚗
Walks beautifully on a leash 🐾
Friendly, easygoing, and adores people
Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative & UTD on vaccinations
Marley is an inside-only dog who wants nothing more than to be part of the family. Whether you're heading out for an adventure or settling in for a Netflix binge, Marley will be by your side — loyal, loving, and always up for whatever you are.

✨ Are you ready to meet the best friend you didn’t know you were missing?

If you think Marley might be your perfect match, please complete an application on our website. His foster mom would love to chat with you!

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
