My name is Lori's Blackey!

Blackey truly is the perfect dog. He is smart, obedient, loyal and loves to snuggle. He just turned one year old and is crate, potty trained and leash trained. He is treat motivated which makes a faster learner. Blackey and his siblings were pulled from a high kill shelter in Mississippi after being rescued from a hoarding situation. He loves to go on walks and play with his foster sister and after that he loves to snuggle and take naps with his humans! Blackey takes a little bit of time to warm up, but is a loyal friend once he knows you.  He would do well in a home with older children who will be patient and understand him. He does well with other dogs but can also be happy as an only pup. He is an absolute love bug! Give him some time and he will reward you with love, companionship, devotion and lots of snuggles.
