My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Myla is a bright, affectionate girl who has so much love to share. She’s an indoor dog through and through and has excellent potty manners—she’ll whine at the door when she needs to go and does wonderfully on her walks. She’s also crate-trained, sleeping a full eight hours through the night in the comfort of her crate. Myla is happiest when she’s with her people. She’s never been left alone for long, so a home where someone is around more often than not would be ideal. If left alone without supervision, she may chew on shoes or furniture, but she thrives with structure and companionship. This sweet girl loves attention—pets, hugs, being bathed, handled, snuggled—you name it. She is not afraid to make herself comfortable on furniture and enjoys curling up beside her humans. Myla is a smart cookie who knows several commands including sit, down, drop, no, treat/cookie, and “walk with me.” She’s an active, playful pup who loves balls, chew bones, and stuffy toys. Her personality is described as friendly, energetic, affectionate, and sometimes a little rambunctious in the best way. She may be shy with new visitors and can be play-mouthy when excited. She can be fearful of fast movements and is nervous around young children and would be most comfortable with slow introductions to children. A home without small children will likely be best for this sensitive girl. She reacts positively to men, absolutely loves women, and enjoys other dogs! Myla should not be adopted into a home with small animals as she was surrendered for chasing the kitties in her previous home. Her previous owner describes her as “the sweetest lovebug—gentle, smart, and eager to please.” We couldn’t agree more!
