My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*This dog is fostered in the Hamilton area*Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website.

Genie is a gentle and affectionate puppy currently seeking her forever home. She may initially be somewhat shy around new people, but with a few moments of patience, she quickly warms up, greeting you with enthusiastic tail wagging and affectionate puppy kisses.

This lively and playful girl enjoys the company of other dogs and would appreciate having a canine friend. She has also lived with cats; while she may occasionally try to playfully chase them, her interactions are always in good spirits. Listens well when asked to leave cats alone.

As a smart puppy, Genie loves learning new skills and games. She is house-trained and crate-trained, and she is making progress with leash manners. She may mouth gently when excited during playtime. She is eager to learn and will excel in a home that is dedicated to ongoing training, regular exercise, and providing structure.

Genie's ideal environment would be a house rather than an apartment or condo, offering space for play, daily adventures, and plenty of affection. Her energy level is moderate to high for a puppy; she enjoys walks and play sessions but also appreciates relaxing quietly once her needs are met. She enjoys chewing on bones and toys.

Genie is certain to bring joy and companionship to the family fortunate enough to welcome her.

Additional adoption info

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.
