Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kangaroo is extremely skittish and startles very easily. Sudden movements, noises, or unfamiliar environments tend to overwhelm her. She often seeks out hiding spots and may take significant time before feeling safe enough to emerge or engage. It's important to move slowly and speak softly around her to avoid causing distress.
This behavior is not unexpected in cats with an unknown or likely traumatic background. It will take a considerable amount of time, patience, and consistency for her to become comfortable and start to trust people. She may benefit from a quiet, low-traffic environment where she can decompress at her own pace. Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime.

More about this shelter
Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.
As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.
Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
