Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Don’t let his small size fool you—Champer is big personality packed into a compact frame! This pint-sized pup has enough attitude to keep life interesting and enough charm to keep you laughing. He knows what he likes (treats, squeaky toys, naps in the sun, being admired) and what he doesn’t (people who take too long to open the treat jar).
Champer’s the kind of dog who will make you earn his trust—but once you’re in his circle, you’re really in. His loyal little heart beats strong for his people, and he’s happiest when he’s ruling his household from a cozy spot on the couch.
He’d do best in a home that appreciates a dog with opinions—a confident, dog-savvy adopter who knows that a bit of sass just means he’s got spirit.
If you’re looking for a small dog with a ton of personality and a dash of spice, Champer’s your guy. 💫
If you are interested in a meet and greet for adoption for Champer, please fill out an application on our website at www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. If you are interested in learning more about Champer or the adoption process at GPG, please email placement@gatewaypets.org
All of our dogs and cats will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. For more photos of Champer, follow us on Facebook Gateway Pet Guardians and Instagram @gatewaypets ... #gpgChamper.

Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. However, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.
