Sweet Bernie is still waiting for her chance at forever!🥹 Bernie was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding case where over 30 dogs lived together in an overcrowded, unsafe mobile home. Despite her rough start, this gentle girl is learning that the world can be a kind and cozy place. ❤️🩹✨ Bernie LOVES toys — she’ll gather them up one by one and bring them back to her bed like a little ferret. She’s a pro at burrowing into blankets and curling up in her favorite cave bed.🧸 Meal times are her favorite — she even does a happy little dance when she knows food is coming! 🍽💃 Though Bernie is blind, she gets around wonderfully and loves snuggling and playing with other small dogs. 🐾 She’s still a bit timid and scares easily, but she’s never shown fear aggression. With patience and love, she’s made big strides — she’ll now let her foster mom pet her and finds comfort in quiet companionship. 💞 She’s also great about using pee pads when she can easily locate them, and she thrives best indoors where she feels safe.
