HI, I am Wallace! When I was found, my leg was hurt, so I went into a foster home to recover. My leg is all better now, and I am ready to find my forever home! Since being in my foster home, I have worked very hard on my potty skills, and I am doing great at this! My foster mom says I get an A+! I am a puppy and have puppy energy, I love to play fetch to burn off some of that energy. I know how to sit, and I do well with other animals. I do try to play, so if you have older dogs who don’t appreciate puppy energy, I might bug them a little. I also get along well with cats, but I do try to play with them sometimes too. Although I love to play, at night I do well settling down. Please come meet me!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
