Alegre is a happy girl who loves attention. She was born in September 2024 and weighs about 40 lbs. She is eager to go for long walks and behaves well on a leash. Alegre has an outgoing personality and always has a smile to share. Friendly with people, She is always happy to make new friends. Alegre loves to cuddle as well as accompany you wherever you want to go. She rides well in a car, settling in to enjoy toys or take a nap. Alegre sits on command and tries hard to please. She is affectionate and eager to be by your side as much as possible. This princess deserves a castle filled with love and attention.

Go meet their pets

Located in the Mission area, Cinderella Pet Rescue, as an all-volunteer organization, schedules appointments for people to meet the animals at the shelter or in a foster home. Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
