Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, everyone, we are the bonded sibling pair named Macintosh & Honeycrisp. Sadly, our mom was found as a stray bun in a local town and the finder knew she was a domestic bun. She was able to scoop her up and brought her home to safety. Overnight our mom (named Apple) gave birth and the finder knew she was in a bit over her head not having any rabbit experience and that is where the rescue stepped in.
Macintosh & Honeycrisp and about 6 months of age and we originally thought both buns were males however Honeycrisp is the male (light colored bun) and Macintosh (dark grey) is the female. These two love to still lay and flop on each other and we just did not have the heart to separate them.
They are both lop-eared buns like their mom however we do not know what breed the dad is and sadly he was never found. We would love to find a forever home for these guys as they are young and do not belong in a rescue.
They are now learning how to use their litterbox and are picking up quite quickly.
They are eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that is changed daily. So far, they like apple, banana, romaine and even a few blueberries.
Would you open your heart and home to a sweet pair of lop buns to share your home with?
