Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wickham had a rough start to life when he was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), which until recently had been a fatal disease. Thanks to the love and dedication of Cat Corner Inc. volunteers Wickham was able to begin the newly approved medication which ultimately cured him! It was a long period of twice daily medications, with one episode of a relapse, but our amazing trooper Wickham is now fully FIP free! Due to all of the playing and eating he has started doing again it's obvious he feels a million times better.
Just as charming, but not nearly as devious as the Pride and Prejudice character he is named after, our Wickham is truly the biggest ball of joy. This little gentleman is as sweet as can be, constantly looking for big hugs, warm cuddles, and lots of kisses! The famously chatty Wickham has the most loving and charismatic personality, and is always looking for a buddy to play with; he would do best in a home with his bonded sister Lizzy! Our boy’s most favorite things are food first and foremost, laser pointers, strings, and having a good wrestle with his kitty friends. Wickham is truly a gem, and you’ll fall in love the moment you meet him!

More Adoption details: An important part of the process is to match the life-style and needs of the adopter with the individual animal being adopted. Once you have fallen in love with your purrfect match, you will need to complete an adoption application. We have the online adoption application or you may fill out a paper application in person at The Cat Corner location. We do not do "same-day adoptions". Here is more about our adoption process and a link to fill out our online adoption application: www.thecatcornerinc.com/adoption-process.Adoption Package The list below includes all of the basic services that each of our cats receives:
Spay/Neuter surgery Feline Leukemia/FIV combo test (cats) Heartworm test (dogs) Microchip with free lifetime registration Rabies vaccination FVRCP (Feline distemper) vaccination Bordetella vaccination (dogs) De-worming treatments Flea treatment Full senior blood panel (8+ years of age) Starter food Behavioral assessment A continuing resource to answer any of your questions or concerns Our adoption fee helps to offset the services that we provide for your newest furry addition. It also acts as a donation to help support our organization as a whole, allowing us to continue our efforts to rescue and re-home cats in need of our help.
Applying to Adopt Once you and your family have spent time with the cats in the adoption room and are ready to adopt, please visit the adoption section of our website: www.thecatcornerinc.com/adopt Our adoption process page will provide you with all of the information you need to know about adopting through our organization, including what to expect, what information we will require from you, and finding your purrfect match.
Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!! As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
About The Cat Corner The Cat Corner, Inc. is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We depend solely from the generosity of caring individuals from our community to continue to do our work.
