My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little blue-eyed wonder just made a big journey into our home and is slowly finding his paws. He’s made so much progress in the last few weeks and loves playing with our dog, can't get enough treats, and will hang out and lounge around the house. He is still very skiddish if you try to touch, pet or pick him up so will require patience and lots of treats as mentioned. He's lets us give him treats by hand and is making good progress getting comfortable with humans:) He's playful, vocal (some whines and talking), but doesn't bark when people come to the door.

Personality & Characteristics:
Playful (with other dogs), Curious, Sweet, Gorgeous.
My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats). Heirloom is very good with my dog and loves playing with him. He's not been around a cat or kids so that would be something to assess.
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) Has not been crate train or house trained as we are still just trying to get him touch/pet/pick him up and that's been the challenge in getting him trained.
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 6-7, he likes to play but he's also a sleeper
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: he sings throughout the day a bit when we wants something and he can make little talkative growls if he feels your getting too close but not aggressively. Doesn't bark often
Walking Manners: n/a
Favorite Things: TREATS/food. he had some toys he plays with and can self entertain, but I'd say his favorite thing right now is out dog
Commands/Tricks: he can sit for a treat :)

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.

Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
