MEET TEAK! Teak is a 2-year-old red pit mix (possibly with some lab or Dobie mixed in) in need of a forever home! He is currently in training in Northern Minnesota. On paper he's 2 years old, but we think he's just a pup, around 1 to 1-1/2. Teak is an 80-pound boy who will make a wonderful companion once his training is done. He's a smart learner, and he needs someone who would love to help him transform into the best dog ever! He is learning to walk on a leash, as nobody ever taught him before, so would do well with someone who has a backyard and room to run. Teak was originally rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, and was one lucky boy to get saved. He's a handsome dog with a gorgeous red coat, and is always happy to see his person. He's very treat motivated. He would also do well with an active person or people who can take him for long walks, hikes and other outings, and for now would do best in an adult-only home.
