She’s fully potty trained and has lovely house manners, making her an easy and respectful roommate. Star also gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a friendly canine companion to help her continue building confidence.
Star loves her walks, especially if there’s a chance to scout for bunnies or peek down driveways in search of a curious cat. She’s still mastering her leash manners, but her enthusiasm is all part of the fun. A true foodie at heart, she bravely tries new veggies with the excitement of a five-star chef discovering a new dish!
While she may be a little shy around men at first, Star warms up with time, patience, and gentle encouragement. Ridge’s Rescue is a volunteer-run and foster-based organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming domestic companion animals primarily within the Rochester area.
We provide a safe and secure refuge in a home environment for abused, unwanted, and neglected animals while they receive support for any medical or behavioral needs before being adopted.
We advocate for and promote awareness in our community about animal safety and the importance of spaying and neutering household pets.
