Chaz is a handsome male orange cat with a gentle soul and a quiet strength. When he first came to us, he was very shy and shut down, and we don’t know much about what his life was like before the shelter. What we do know is how far he’s come.
With time, patience, and the love of a caring foster family, Chaz has blossomed into a much more confident and playful companion. Once he feels safe, he seeks out attention and truly enjoys head and neck scratches. Watching Chaz learn to trust and show his affectionate side has been incredibly rewarding.
Chaz is estimated to be between 2–4 years old and is medically up to date, neutered, and microchipped, ready to start his next chapter.
Because other cats make him nervous, Chaz would do best as the only cat in the home, where he can relax and soak up all the attention. We also recommend a home without young children, as he prefers a calmer environment where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion and have the patience to let a cat settle in and shine, Chaz may be the perfect match for you.
