This 4-year-old cutie is independent by nature but enjoys hanging out with his people once he feels comfortable. He’s not a fan of sharing space with other chinchillas, so he’s looking for a home where he can be the center of attention.
Chinchillas make wonderful companions, but they do have some special needs:
• Their teeth grow continuously, so plenty of safe wooden toys for chewing are a must.
• They’re sensitive to heat, thriving best at 59–77°F.
• They love their weekly dust baths in special chinchilla dust.
• They’re nocturnal, munch on hay and chinchilla pellets, and can live up to 20 years!
