Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Ginny 💛 — a soft tan tabby with big, soulful eyes and an even bigger heart. I’m the kind of girl who just wants to know where I belong and who I get to love.
My journey has had a few unexpected turns. I originally came to the adoption center front declawed with my brother Charlie. He’s since found his forever home (go, Charlie!), and I was adopted too — but sadly returned when the resident cat in the home wasn’t comfortable with me. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, and it certainly wasn’t mine, but it meant I had to start my search again.
I’m a sweet, gentle cat who truly thrives in a calm, quiet environment where I can relax and feel safe. I’ve been well cared for and have shown myself to be an easygoing, affectionate companion once I know I’m secure.
When I feel settled, I’m a total lovebug. I adore curling up in laps, purring softly while you read or watch TV, and sharing peaceful moments with my person. I enjoy affection and will gently let you know when I’m ready for a little “me time” — I’m polite and expressive, never demanding.
I can be a bit particular about my wet food (I have refined tastes!), and I love having company while I eat — I’m a proud social eater who enjoys feeling connected.
What I’m really looking for is a quiet, loving home where I can finally unpack my bags and stay for good. I would do best in a home as the only cat. I have so much gentle affection to give and a heart ready to settle in.
If you’re looking for a calm, loyal, and loving companion, I hope you’ll come meet me. I’m ready for this to be my forever.
With love,
Ginny 🐾

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
