Meet Flounder!
This 3-month-old, 15-pound cutie has already mastered the art of stealing hearts. His mama is a 21-pound scruffy terrier mix, but Flounder clearly takes after dad—we expect he’ll grow into a handsome 40 pounds.

Though he can be a little shy at first, Flounder is truly the sweetest boy. If belly rubs were an Olympic sport, he’d bring home the gold—he’ll happily pause playtime for a good scratch! His big, floppy ears and those classic puppy-dog eyes only add to his charm.

Flounder gets along wonderfully with his sister Alana, his foster sibling Duke, and kids too. He’s already puppy pad trained, crate trained, and well on his way to being the perfect family companion. Once he feels comfortable, his playful, goofy, and affectionate personality shines through—complete with puppy kisses that melt hearts on the spot.

One cuddle with Flounder and you’ll never want to let him go!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
