Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hannah Montana! 🖤✨
Hannah Montana is a stunning 1.5-year-old domestic medium hair with a soft, beautiful coat and soulful eyes that tell a story of resilience. This young mama survived a heartbreaking hoarding situation of over 300 cats and bravely raised her kittens despite the chaos around her. Now that her babies are safe, Hannah is finally ready to find a home that understands her.
Hannah has come a long way, but she is still a very fearful, shut-down girl. During her time in foster care, it took almost two full months before her foster parents could touch her at all. Here at the shelter, she has remained too scared to be handled, but we know that with the right home—patient, calm, and consistent—she can continue to open up slowly and on her own terms.
This is not a beginner cat. Hannah needs:
NO kids, NO travel, A quiet, predictable home, A caregiver who understands fearful cats and can give her months—possibly longer—of gentle, pressure-free adjustment And, very importantly… Churu treats! They’re one of the few things she truly enjoys and will help build trust.
Hannah Montana may never be a cuddly cat, but she can learn to feel safe, stable, and cared for in the right environment. If you’re someone who believes love is patient, healing takes time, and every cat deserves a chance—Hannah Montana is waiting for you.
🖤 Give this brave girl the calm, consistent home she needs, and you’ll change her life forever. 🐾

More about this shelter
The Gulf Coast Humane Society is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to serving the animals and community of Southwest Florida. We receive no federal, state, or county funding, nor do we receive financial support from the Humane Society of the United States. Instead, our lifesaving work is made possible through the generosity of individual donations, grants, bequests, and community fundraising efforts.
As a no kill shelter, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care for unwanted, neglected, and abandoned animals. We never euthanize due to space constraints or the length of time an animal has been in our care. Our mission is to give every animal the second chance they deserve in a safe and loving environment.
