My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌼 Meet Daisy – A Gentle Spirit with a Heart Full of Sunshine 🌼

Daisy is a stunning calico beauty whose soft patchwork of gold, white, and cocoa looks like it was brushed on by an artist’s hand. But as beautiful as she is on the outside, it’s her calm, affectionate personality that makes her truly special.

She’s the kind of cat who brings peace to every room she enters — quiet, graceful, and full of love. Daisy enjoys simple pleasures: curling up in a sunny window, stretching out on a soft blanket, and keeping you company while you read or unwind. She doesn’t need much to be happy — just a gentle hand, a cozy home, and someone who understands her sweet, easygoing nature.

Once Daisy feels safe, she forms a deep, loyal bond with her person. She’ll softly follow you from room to room, offer a gentle purr when you need it most, and remind you that love often comes in the quietest moments. She’s not the kind of cat who demands attention — she gives it freely and sincerely, in her own tender way.

Daisy would thrive in a calm home where she can relax and be adored for the affectionate companion she is. She’s past the whirlwind of kitten chaos and ready to settle into the good life — naps, playtime, and plenty of love included.

If you’re searching for a loyal friend with beauty, grace, and a heart full of sunshine, Daisy is waiting to meet you. 💛

More about this shelter

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home. We value every animal equally and consider all to be priceless
