If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Buster is a tough tomcat from the streets of Harrisburg. Well, he may look tough but he really is a softy that lives for lots of attention, pats, and food (He would go to war for a tube treat). We recently noticed some discharge from his eyes and took him to the vet (in the hopes of treating his eyes and clearing him for a neuter procedure). While at the vet, he tested positive for FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus), and the vet suggested that we consider putting him down if we weren't planning to bring him indoors. Our indoor cats already have another immune disorder, so we are unable to bring him in ourselves. He is such a loving, friendly kitty I would love to find him a home where he can get the love and care he deserves. He has recently been neutered and is up to date on his shots!
