Hi there, I’m Glenda – but you can call me your very own Good Witch of the West. I’m 7 years young with a calm, gentle spirit and fur as soft as a cloud. Life has taught me to appreciate the quiet moments, and I bring a peaceful presence wherever I go. I may not be a kitten anymore, but I still have plenty of love and life to share—just in my own graceful way. You’ll usually find me perched in a sunny window, watching the world go by and keeping an eye on the neighborhood birds and squirrels. I’m not one for wild games, but I do enjoy a cozy nap, a warm lap, and the comfort of a calm, loving home. If you’re looking for a sweet, serene companion, I just might be the magical friend you’ve been waiting for.
I’m being treated for ringworm—a curable fungal infection that just needs some topical and oral medication. I’ll heal much faster in a foster home than in the shelter! Ringworm can be contagious to humans and pets through close contact, so a bathroom or another easy-to-clean space is perfect for keeping me separated while I recover. The shelter will provide everything—medication, cleaning supplies, extra bedding, and plenty of guidance. All I need is a little patience, some foster love, and someone willing to help me heal! That’s why I’m not quite available for adoption yet—but I am available for foster-to-adopt! If you’ve got a little extra love and a warm, quiet space, I’d be so grateful for the chance to recover in your care.
Come meet me from 12 PM to 6 PM, open every day. No application or appointment required - walk-ins welcome. SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212
