Meet Rocky, sweet, curious pup who’s eager to find a home where he can continue blossoming!
Rocky is a 2 year old American Pittie mix, who is an energetic walker who may pull a bit on leash at first, but once he settles into the walk, he relaxes nicely. Rocky is a social boy who shows playful interest in other dogs. He happily wags his tail and offers play bows through the fence, and if another dog isn’t in the mood, he’s respectful and backs off politely. He’s a gentle soul who doesn’t escalate and instead goes right back to exploring his surroundings. This handsome guy loves checking in with his people. He frequently comes over for treats, enjoys being petted all over, and knows how to sit when asked.
New indoor spaces make him a bit cautious at first, but with a few minutes of sniffing and settling in, his tail starts to wag and he warms up quickly. He’s also easy to handle and guides right back into his kennel without fuss. All shelter locations are conducting animal viewing and adoptions on a first come, first serve basis. We are not able to move a pet from one location to another for your viewing.
The adoption fee is waived for all available pets in care and in foster homes. Standard adoption practices will still be in place, including background checks.
