Jinx is a stunning tortoiseshell beauty with a soft, short coat of rich orange and black. This confident, affectionate girl has truly blossomed and now loves being right by your side—whether she’s curled up in your lap during TV time or serving as the cutest little office “paperweight” while you work.
Social and delightfully chatty, Jinx enjoys talking to her humans, especially when she’s hoping for extra attention. She has a big personality wrapped in a loving heart and thrives on human companionship, making her a wonderful best-friend-type cat.
Jinx’s only special request is patience. She may need a couple of weeks to fully settle into a new environment, but once she feels safe, her loving nature shines. She does best in a calm home with adults or older children and prefers to be the only pet. While she can tolerate a mellow, respectful cat, she truly shines as a solo companion. She currently lives with a large dog and holds her ground, and could potentially adjust to a small dog who respects her space.
Jinx has been in foster care for several months and is ready for her forever home—one where she can offer devotion, personality, and endless cuddles in return. She may just be the loyal companion you didn’t know you were missing.

More about this rescue
Our group's founders came from other cat rescue groups as we wanted to accept the cats others would not accept; older animals, injured, FIV positive and black cats/kittens. We also assist with TNR and have several traps to loan. We are small and informal, and always welcome new volunteers in any capacity.
