Smokey is a 7-year-old, very friendly and outgoing boy with a heart full of love. He’s completely potty-trained, great with kids, and has lived with both men and women. Smokey spent most of his life as an outside dog, so he thrives in a yard where he can run and play freely. He has never been crated and would not do well cooped up in an apartment. He has shown some reactions to other dogs in kennels but did not react to cats he passed by—so he may benefit from meet-and-greets with other pets. Smokey is eager for his next chapter with a family who will give him the care, companionship, and freedom he deserves.
**He is HW+, but you can foster to adopt , which means the dog stays with you until treatment is completed and they are cleared, at no extra cost to you. The dog comes off the adoption website once you are signed up for the foster to adopt program, or you can choose to go ahead and adopt, which at that point you are responsible for taking care of the treatment and the cost.
