My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is an approximately 1 year old gerbil who came to the rescue when her owner could not bring her with when she moved.

She is a curious gerbil who loves to run and explore. She can be a little tricky to pick up because she is so quick, but once in your hand she doesn't fuss. She is a young gerbil and will be your faithful companion for another 2-3 years! We are continuing to get to know her better, but so far she is your typical busy gerbil who enjoys rearranging her enclosure and searching for snacks.

She may be able to bond with another female gerbil, or she would be okay solo as long as you are able to provide her with plenty of enrichment!

Gerbils are easy to entertain with cardboard and wooden toys to shred, bedding to burrow in, and regular sandbaths to keep their coats clean and shiny.

We are able to meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Faribault MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
