Meet Cora – The Lovable Blue Heeler
Currently waiting in boarding and dreaming of a home of her own

Cora is an around  2-4 years-old Blue Heeler who was saved from the euthanasia list, and now she’s searching for the loving forever home she deserves. She can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but offer her a treat and you’ll see her warm up quickly. Once she trusts you, she’s a loyal and affectionate girl who bonds deeply with her people.

Cora’s love shines through in everything she does—whether it’s greeting you with joyful wiggles and happy hops when you come home or curling up next to you at night to be your snuggle buddy.

She’s housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door, and has great manners in the home—no chewing on things she shouldn’t, just happily enjoying a bully stick when she’s given one. Though she’s deaf, Cora is incredibly receptive to visual cues and eager to please. She follows hand signals beautifully—point to the door and she’ll head right over, show her “sit” (especially with a treat in hand!) and she’s quick to obey.

Active and spirited, Cora would make the perfect hiking, running, or walking partner. More than anything, she needs a family who will give her the patience, security, and unconditional love she’s been waiting so long for.

Cora has been sitting in boarding, dreaming of a home where she can finally belong—could you be the one to give her that chance? ❤️
