My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bujulito (leeto) is an adult cat that may not have had many interactions with humans from an early age. He is very apprehensive of people and while showing no aggressive behaviors, he does attempt to flee and avoid human contact. It is difficult to predict if he will respond to socialization but we recommend offering high value treats and food to help build a positive association to humans. Please be mindful that older cats will require more time and skill in order for them to be comfortable around people. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

A volunteer writes: Bujulito is a friendly, sweet, and curious cat who enjoys engaging with her crinkle toys and her world when she feels comfortable. Unfortunately I don't know how comfortable she been feeling at the shelter, but it's not for lack of trying. We always try to invite her to play, snack, and even share some pets and neck scritches with us. Though Bujulito will accept some of the latter, she usually wraps her tail around her as a comfort and isn't one to make the first move to introduce herself. We know Bujulito's trying and we know she could really use a chance.
