🐾 Meet Atlas – The Handsome Explorer with a Heart of Gold! 🐾

Atlas is a stunning hound mix with soulful chocolate-brown eyes, cream-tipped paws, and a sleek black saddle coat that gives him a truly classic look. Wherever he goes, this handsome boy turns heads — and hearts! ❤️

Smart, strong, and full of curiosity, Atlas loves going for walks where he can take in all the neighborhood scents and proudly deliver his “pee-mails.” He’s an energetic guy who enjoys adventure and learning new things. With a little guidance and the right harness, he’s already showing progress on his leash skills and enjoys practicing good manners.

Atlas is friendly and curious with smaller dogs and would do well with slow introductions. He’s a quick learner who responds beautifully to structure and praise. While he’s not much into toys yet, he’s always grateful for a good meal, a soft bed, and some love from his humans.

He’s doing well on his house training — he knows outside is the place to go, and with a little more consistency, he’ll be a pro in no time!

Atlas has a deep, expressive bark that’s just his way of talking to you — never excessive, always full of personality. And when we say he’s smart, we mean smart: once, he managed a little solo adventure after slipping out of his harness, only to trot right back home and bark at the front door like, “Miss me?” 🐶💫

Atlas is ready for a home that appreciates his goofy intelligence, loyal heart, and adventurous spirit. With love, patience, and a comfy place to nap, he’ll be your devoted companion for life. 💕

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes. We help evaluate temperaments of pets and network to find foster homes. Animal Rescue is an ongoing battle. We are stronger when we stand together.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides medical care, including vaccinations, microchip and spay/neuter for all our adoptable pets. With years of experience, our goal is to find the perfect fit for each dog as well as the best pet for your family.
