Nino is the definition of easygoing. He loves women, adores snuggling on the couch, and is happiest when he’s soaking up attention from his people. Butt scratches? Yes, please. Being talked to like a baby? Even better. Deep, soulful eye contact? Absolutely.
This sweet guy enjoys a couple of short daily walks and is very treat-motivated, making him a joy to spend time with. He also loves a good game of tug-of-war and has a soft, affectionate side that shines once he’s settled in. Nino is a total lovebug who just wants to be close to his person and share a calm, cozy life together.
If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily curl up beside you and make every day a little sweeter, Nino is ready to be your new best friend. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more.
Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.

HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.
From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.
From Foster Care (out of shelter):
Put the name of the dog(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. In the email include your name, phone number and address. Send to - sasfosteradoption@seattle.gov.
