Some kittens bounce off the walls. Zara prefers to float through life with effortless cool.
This petite beauty is a brown tabby brushed with the softest hints of orange, like someone warmed her coat in gentle sunlight. It gives her a look that’s a little unexpected and entirely unforgettable. She may be small, but her presence is pure cozy charm.
Zara was raised in a foster home, so she already understands the rhythms of house life. Sofas are for lounging, laps are for snuggling, and quiet moments are meant to be shared. She’s the kind of kitten who settles in easily, bringing a calm sweetness rather than constant chaos.
While she still has that playful kitten spark, Zara leans more toward the “let’s curl up together” side of the spectrum. If you’re hoping for a companion who blends youthful energy with an old-soul softness, she fits that role beautifully.
Easygoing, affectionate, and wonderfully cuddly, Zara is ready to trade her foster nest for a forever lap.
Her adoption fee is $90 ($150 for a pair if you adopt her with her sister, Zenda) and this includes her spay, vaccines, flea and tick prevention, a negative FIV/FeLV test, and a microchip that we register for you. To apply visit our website at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
