My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Menace — yes, that Menace. Sometimes I live up to my name, but only in the “chaotic good” sense. I’m a playful rascal, a certified attention sponge, and a full‑time supervisor who insists on being wherever you are. If you move, I move. If you sit, I sit. If you blink, I’m already in your lap. I get along great with dogs, cats, and anyone who appreciates a little mischief mixed with maximum charm. I’m also an avid birdwatcher — a true “tweet enthusiast.” I’ll sit by the window like I’m streaming Birdflix, judging every feathered guest with professional dedication. I may be a Menace by name, but I’m a sweetheart by nature. If you’re looking for a playful shadow with a purr‑sonality bigger than his whiskers, I’m your guy.

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
