Clyde is a sweet, easy-going pup who’s ready to bring love and fun into your life! He’s a people-loving, gentle soul who’s easy to handle and already a pro at using the doggy door. When he’s out in the yard, Clyde plays hard and with boundless energy. But in the kennel, he’s the picture of calm – sweet, cuddly, and happy to relax by your side. This handsome boy doesn’t mind sharing his toys or treats, and he gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s also on the quiet side, making him a great fit for many home environments.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is
