Meet 7 year old, 36 lb. friendly French Bulldog, Rockie. Rockie was surrendered by his owner, who no longer had the ability to properly care for him. Rockie loves people, belly rubs, and his Kong toy. Rockie likes to chase lizards and carry his toy on his walks. He is a great companion for people, but may react to other dogs. For that reason, he should be the only dog in your home. Rockie is a very solid, sturdy dog that needs an experienced owner, and no young children. Rockie is on allergy medication and a special diet. The Pet Adoption Center of Orange County is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that develops and provides creative solutions to find safe, loving, permanent homes for displaced pets in our community.
We offer adoption services, as well as placement and referral services, to successfully match pets with highly compatible people and families. Through public education, we encourage humane pet care and responsible, long-term pet ownership. We bring together people with pets, and individuals with their community, to create the social change needed to achieve our goal of reducing shelter euthanasia rates and eliminating pet overpopulation.
