Hi there, my name is Richie, and I am a sweet senior guy who came to FDHS with my best friend and bonded buddy, Charlie. We are looking for a forever home together and would love to stay side by side. We have been at FDHS for a few months now, and even though we know older dogs, especially pairs, can be harder to adopt, we have so much love to give in our golden years.
I am gentle, kind, and take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I am nothing but a loyal, loving companion. The staff here tell me I am a very good boy, and I try my best to live up to that every day. I feel safe and comfortable with them, and I am curious about the other dogs too. Charlie and I have a special bond, and we really want to find a calm, loving home where we can share our days together.
What we dream of now is a comfy bed, a peaceful home, and someone who will remind us every day that we are loved. We do not need much, just a soft place to sleep, a bowl of food, and someone to share our love with.
