Meet Roni, the brave little street survivor with dazzling white fur and sparkling green apple eyes! Found frail and scared in the streets of Harlem, Roni has blossomed into a sweet, funny, and slightly sassy senior boy who loves his personal space but also adores human companionship. Just don’t leave your chicken wings unattended! Weighing under 6 pounds when rescued, Roni has gained strength and personality in just a month of fostering. He's now a confident, cuddly lounge master who enjoys relaxing on comfy couches and soaking up love. Roni gets along well with other pets but is perfectly happy being your one and only or enjoying some solo time. If you're looking for a charming, resilient feline with a heart as big as his appetite, Roni's your guy ready to bring joy and a little laughter into your life! Roni was born around 10/01/2015.

Additional adoption info
Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
