Rin is a petite brindle beauty, about 1 year old, with a massive zest for life packed into her small pittie frame. She’s sweet, playful, and fast on her feet—especially when there’s a tennis ball involved! Fetch is her absolute favorite game, and she’ll happily chase after the ball as long as you throw it.
This high-energy girl is still very puppyish in her behavior, despite paperwork suggesting she’s closer to 2. Luckily, she settles well in her crate after playtime and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Rin’s love language is touch—she wants to climb into your lap, wrap herself around you, and soak up every ounce of affection.
Rin is incredibly social with humans and wants to meet every person she sees. With other dogs, however, she’s still learning her manners. She can be a bit too pushy and insistent, which has led to some altercations with tolerant males she’s been introduced to. With training, structure, and patience, Rin has excellent potential to mature into a more respectful playmate. For now, she may do best as your one-and-only pup while she learns.
She is spending two weeks at Gagnon's Pet Resort where she'll learn more about how to be the best dog she can be!!
This gal is very smart and she already knows several basic commands. Check these out in this video: https://youtube.com/shorts/mnnSy7AHaEo
If you’re looking for a fun, loving, athletic companion who will make you laugh and keep you moving, Rin is your girl!

More about this rescue
PAWS is comprised of a small group of volunteers from New England and Tennessee trying to reduce the euthanization rate (previously 90%) at the Tipton County Animal Control shelter in Brighton, Tennessee. This shelter is forced to euthanize thousands of animals each year due to irresponsible pet owners that do not spay/ neuter their dogs in the area. Millions of dogs in America are euthanized each year due to lack of space and lack of funding to try and find them better homes.
Our mission is to save as many animals as possible, removing them from the shelter, having their veterinary needs met prior to traveling and then finding them loving homes throughout New England. We do this only with the assistance of many people volunteering their time by going to the shelter, transporting the dogs to the vet, fostering dogs who need special care, and arranging for their new and happy homes in this area. Most importantly, we cannot do any of this without those people willing to open their homes and hearts to these lovely creatures.
