Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🌲 Meet Forest 🌲
This sweet little face belongs to Forest — a Boxer/Terrier mix who’s full of love, playfulness, and puppy charm! 💚
Forest came to us after her owner could no longer care for her due to health issues. She’s now settling into a loving foster home where she’s learning new things every day — exploring the world, playing with toys, and discovering just how good it feels to be safe and loved. 🐶✨
At just 7 months old, Forest is bright, friendly, and eager to please. She’s the perfect mix of energy and affection — playful outside, but a total cuddle bug when the day winds down.
Forest is ready to find her forever family — one who’ll keep teaching her how wonderful life can be. 🌿
Come meet her through Monroe County Friends of Animals or apply to adopt at mcfriendsofanimals.org 💛

More about this shelter
A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
