At 12 pounds and 1 year old this sweet boy is in need of a soft place to land. Poor little Truman was found running scared through the streets of Baltimore City trying to survive. Kids were throwing cans and bricks at him. His previous life has left him extremely fearful and he will require someone with previous dog experience and a lot of patience. He gains comfort from other dogs and will need a dog companion in his new home as well as a physically fenced yard

Pet Rescue of Maryland is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to saving the lives of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. We are staffed only by volunteers and rely in the kindness of our community to financially support our efforts. We do not have a central shelter. All of our animals are fostered in our homes as if they were our pets. This allows us to assess each animal and help find the home that best fits with their needs. We treat each animal as if they are part of our family until they become part of yours.
