This dog is recommended for a home with older children.

Staff & Volunteer Testimonials:

`Oakley is a very sweet boy, usually good on walks. Staff and volunteers adore him.`

`Oakley just wants someone to play with so be that someone!!!`

`Oakley is so smart!! He walks beautifully on leash. He is good motivated and always excited to see people!`

`Oakley is the best! My son loves to walk him when we volunteer. He would make a great family dog!`

`Oakley is an energetic and fluffy delight! He’s certainly up for affection and pets, but also has a clever and independent spirit. And you’re sure to fall in love with his big, expressive ears :)`

`Oakley is eager to learn, fun to play with, and happy to see his favorite people.`

Pet of the Week Bio:

`Oakley is a one-year-old boy with a playful spirit and a heart full of warmth. He greets the world with a goofy grin, a wagging tail, and a joyful eagerness that makes it impossible not to smile back at him. He loves being close to his people, checking in often as if to say he is happy to share every moment with you.

He is extremely smart for his age and even more motivated when food is involved. Training with him feels fun and rewarding because he learns quickly and tries hard to understand what you want from him. Oakley is also brave about exploring new places, moving forward with curiosity and confidence. He is the kind of dog who turns simple outings into small adventures.

Oakley needs to be the only dog in the home, but he can live comfortably with cats. What he wants most is a family who will appreciate his bright personality, his affectionate nature, and his love for both play and companionship. If you are looking for a loyal friend who brings energy, joy, and endless charm into your life, Oakley is ready to meet you.`
