"Cats are angels with whiskers." This reminds us of dear Bella, who is two years old.
Meet Bella Tall & Skinny (but not anymore).
Once upon a time, Bella was both tall and skinny when she was trapped on someone’s porch with her kittens. Today? Well… she is neither tall nor skinny, and we’re not sure if she truly shrank in height or if her generous new physique is simply creating optical illusions. Either way, that’s her business.
Bella has always been a bit on the shy side, but once she feels safe, she’s a quiet, gentle companion. We think Bella Tall & Skinny—affectionately known around here as Bella Double Wide—may just be a “live under the bed” type of cat. And that’s okay! Every cat deserves a home that fits their vibe.
At the shelter, Bella has claimed a cubby on the counter as HER cubby. She graciously allows other cats to join her for snuggle time, making her a polite hostess… but let’s be clear: it is still HER cubby. We might even let her take it with her if you adopt her.
If you’ve always wanted a cat who knows exactly who she is—and who she is happens to be delightfully round, mildly grumpy, and proudly independent—then Bella Double Wide is your girl. Let her live her best under-the-bed life… in your home.
Come meet Bella and see if she’s your perfect low-maintenance, high-personality queen.
E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information!
Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

More about this shelter
Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!
All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
