Meet Mistletoe – The Three-Legged Wonder!
Mistletoe is a one-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart as big as her spirit! This happy, playful girl doesn’t let having three legs slow her down—she loves to run, play, and horse around just like any other pup. With a low to medium energy level, she’d make a fantastic walking or jogging partner and is always up for a game of fetch.
She’s treat-motivated, knows “sit,” walks beautifully on a leash, and takes treats like a lady. Mistletoe adores affection and attention, soaking up every pet and belly rub she can get. She’s a little bouncy when excited, but nothing over the top—just enough to show how happy she is!
Mistletoe gets along well with bigger dogs and would thrive in a home with older kiddos who can keep up with her fun-loving nature. She loves being near her human.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep's Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.).
Our adoption fee is $300 plus health certificate ($50) and transport ($200 for most locations). This adoption fee includes all current basic vaccinations, deworming, microchip (with lifetime registration), fecal analysis, spay, and a heartworm test. All dogs are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a health certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of transport.
