Cap'n Crunch is a funny guy. Really. Just a sweet, weird, handsome, opinionated, drooly, head-bonky, funky dude who is waiting very patiently for his perfect forever home. Age is just a number for this suave fella, even though at 9-years-old, he's technically a senior, that doesn't slow him down one bit- he loves to jump from desk to desk, up his tower and to the top of the bookcase to survey his kingdom below.
His ideal adopter would be someone with a lot of cat experience- Cap'n Crunch needs someone who can respect his boundaries and know when to take a break with petting, so he doesn't get overstimulated. But we think that Cap'n is the perfect mixture of affectionate and independent, he comes to find you when he wants scritches, and then he's happy to go and do his own thing. He has lived with cats before, but can be picky about his feline friends, so he would do best as an only cat, or with a resident cat that is calm and not pushy. Cap'n would also do best in a home with adults only since children can be a bit too high energy for this guy.

Forgotten Felines is a non-profit, registered 501(c)3 organization serving Sonoma County since 1990. Our primary function is to provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics to assist the public with the management of feral or wild cats in Sonoma County. We offer instruction and equipment loans (subject to availability) to help people with the goal of reducing the feral cat population by a Trap-Neuter-Release program. Tame adults we find living in feral cat groups, as well as formerly feral kittens who have been tamed down by our volunteer foster parents, are put through our adoption program. We are always actively seeking volunteers to assist with fostering, trapping, and helping at our thrift store, Pick of the Litter.
