Waffles is a 7-month-old Husky/Terrier mix weighing about 27 lbs — and he’s just as sweet as his name suggests! This handsome boy is full of energy and joy, and he’s looking for an active family who can keep up with his playful spirit.
Waffles loves to play with other dogs and would thrive with a canine buddy. He hasn’t been tested with cats. He’s also great with kids, though he’s still working on keeping all four paws on the ground when he gets excited (we redirect him with an “off” and help guide his legs down).
He’s crate-trained — he sleeps through the night in his crate (from about 10:30 pm to 6 am) and settles nicely when left alone. Potty training is still a work in progress, but with consistency and patience, he’ll catch on quickly.
Walks are one of Waffles’ favorite things! He’s a strong puller, so a harness helps, and he’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely burn off his energy.
Above all, Waffles loves attention and companionship. He’ll bring a lot of fun, love, and laughter to a family who can give him the activity and training he needs as he grows.

The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
