Hi my name is Sugar! I was trapped as part of a TNR project but I am too sweet for the streets and I love being a house cat! My birthday is guessed to be the first week of April. I have been spayed, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, microchipped and am in a foster home in Phoenixville. I’m using the litter box all the time and am a super playful kitty! I love when my foster family plays with me using a wand toy and I love running around with my fellow foster kittens! . I have a very sweet and sort of shy temperament, but my curiosity and playfulness is on full display. I love to be pet and purr when getting attention. I might scoot away if someone moves too quickly my way but will come right back out to see what’s going on, and I love hanging around my foster mom to watch everything she is doing. I also let the 8-year old child in the house carry me around like a baby and kiss me! I have the softest grey striped coat. There is a laid back Bulldog in my foster home that I am getting familiar with and more comfortable around. Please adopt me and my sister Suki together as we have been together from the very start and we love playing together. If you think I might be the kitty for you please apply!

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
