My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carmie!

Joined us in: September 2025

About Carmie:
• A gentle, shy boy who appreciates slow introductions and a calm, reassuring approach
• Enjoys quiet moments, exploring the home, and looking out the window
• Loves being pet and will happily sleep on the bed once he feels comfortable
• Friendly and sweet when settled, with a soft meow and an equally soft, soothing purr

His perfect match:
• A quiet, low-stress home where he can adjust at his own pace
• Patient adopters who understand that trust builds over time and are happy to let him take the lead
• Has lived with other cats before and is currently working on being social with them, so a calm feline companion may be a good fit

Some extra facts about Carmie:
• Likes to explore and doesn’t usually hide, even in new spaces
• Currently on a vet-prescribed gastrointestinal diet to keep his tummy feeling its best
• Experience with dogs and children is unknown, so a peaceful household is ideal

In short:
Carmie is a tender-hearted, gentle boy who thrives in calm surroundings. With patience, kindness, and a quiet home, he’ll reward his family with soft purrs, bedtime snuggles, and a loving presence that makes every day a little cozier.
