Meet Maggie. She is very playful and she loves attention and being pet. She will lay in anyone’s lap, and she is super sweet but also sassy in the most charming way. Maggie loves spending time with her foster kitten sibling, and they love to play and sleep together. She is enjoying learning and exploring.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
